Introduction

Simple 2 Player Games ("we", "our", "us", or "the app") is an offline-first collection of games developed by DevDroidZ. This policy explains what information the app stores, what information may be transmitted when checking for updates, and what happens when you choose external actions.

1. Information Stored on Your Device

The app may store the following preferences and small amounts of gameplay-related state locally on your device:

• Music and sound-effect volume settings
• Vibration preference
• Favorite games
• Selected country or region preference
• Daily game-session count and the local date on which a daily update or rating prompt was shown

This information is used to remember your preferences and manage in-app prompts. It remains in the app's local device storage and is not uploaded to a developer-operated server.

2. Information We Collect

The app does not include user accounts, registration, login, cloud saves, online multiplayer, chat, advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or tracking SDKs. It does not intentionally request or collect names, email addresses, contacts, location, photos, camera data, microphone recordings, phone numbers, SMS messages, call logs, or precise device location for gameplay.

The app does not send game scores, saved preferences, account details, or a unique device identifier to the developer through its release-check request.

3. Automatic Release Check

When the app starts or returns to the foreground, it automatically requests a public release manifest hosted on GitHub to check whether a newer version may be available.

To serve this request, GitHub may receive the release-manifest URL, the device's IP address, and standard connection/request headers. These are ordinary connection details handled by the service receiving the request. The app does not intentionally add game scores, local preferences, account information, or a unique device identifier to this request.

GitHub operates this hosting service under its own terms and privacy practices. The app's core games are designed to remain playable offline; the release check requires an internet connection to retrieve the manifest.

4. User-Initiated External Actions

In addition to the automatic release check described above, the following external actions occur only when you choose them:

• Privacy Policy: Opens this policy URL in your device's external browser.
• Update Now / Rate the Game: Opens the app's Google Play listing.
• Suggest a Game: Opens the device's email composer with a pre-filled recipient, subject, and editable message. You must press Send to send the email.
• Share: Opens the operating system's share sheet so you can choose whether and where to share.

The app does not automatically send emails or share content. Any information you choose to send or share is handled by the email, browser, sharing destination, or other service you select, under that service's own practices.

5. Third-Party Services

GitHub hosts the public release manifest used by the automatic version check. Google Play handles the store listing and installation when you choose Update Now or Rate the Game. Your device's browser, email application, and operating system share sheet may also be used when you select the related actions.

These third-party services may process connection details or information you choose to provide according to their own privacy policies. DevDroidZ does not control the privacy practices of these external services.

6. Advertising, Analytics, and Tracking

This version of the app does not include advertisements, advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or tracking SDKs.

7. Data Retention and Security

Preferences and prompt-related state described in this policy are stored locally by the app. They generally remain on the device until changed, cleared through the app or device settings where available, or removed when the app's data is cleared or the app is uninstalled. The developer does not maintain a remote database of these local preferences.

Connection details associated with the release-manifest request may be processed or retained by GitHub according to GitHub's own policies and practices. Users should secure their devices using the security features provided by their operating system.

8. Children's Privacy

The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children or adults. Parents and guardians should supervise information a player chooses to include in an email or share using an external app or service.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the app, its features, or its data practices. When we make changes, we will revise the “Last Updated” date above. If future releases introduce advertising, analytics, online services, or other data processing, we will review and update this policy and the applicable Google Play disclosures.

10. Google Play and Data Safety

This policy is intended to describe the app's current data practices. The Google Play Data Safety form must accurately reflect the behavior of the versions distributed through Google Play, including relevant behavior of third-party libraries and services. We will review the policy and store disclosures when app functionality or data handling changes.
